A stalwart of iconic Rundle Street’s nightlife, Distill Adelaide has just had a fabulous refresh, reboot and rebrand, and is still hosting the classiest party in town.
Earlier this year, the much-loved wine, gin and cocktail bar welcomed its new owner, 26-year-old entrepreneur Steven Giles, who has given the venue a revamp whilst maintaining its eclectic and sophisticated feel.
“Distill was love at first sight for me – the previous owners did an excellent job to create such an iconic venue in the East End, but as with any new business, there’s always a huge list of ideas to evolve,” he says.
“Together with my venue manager, Richard Chao and our fantastic team of staff, we began the ‘facelift’. The ground level boasts a more open floor plan with cosy booths – the perfect setting to enjoy drinks with friends.”
Along with the new look, comes a new party. Now every day’s the Weekend with Distill hosting official afterparty for Fresh 92.7’s weekly ‘Windback Wednesday’.
“Wednesday night’s at Distill will be nothing but indie tunes, cool vibes and Coopers on tap [for] the University and hospitality crowd who are looking for hump day fun,” Steven says.
Distill will continue its popular weekend events including Knock Offs from 4:30pm every Friday, and resident RnB DJs will hit the decks as usual upstairs on 286 Fridays and Distill Saturdays from 10pm.
Located at 286 Rundle Street, Distill is the go-to destination for seasonal handcrafted cocktails and diverse range of regional wines and speciality beers.
With no hire fee for functions and their all new VIP booths where you can enjoy A-List, celebrity treatment all night, Distill is your destination for the ultimate night out.
