Next month, a glittery gala event is set to raise much needed funds for an organisation providing support and information on anxiety, depression and suicide.
On Saturday 27 November the Queens Gala 2021 promises an evening of non-stop entertainment, glorious extravagance and friendship.
Bringing together the movers and shakers of Queer Adelaide, their friends and allies, a red-carpet arrival with a champagne reception will set the scene for a night of glitz, glamour and sass.
Held in The Great Hall on North Terrace, the evening’s entertainment will include a line-up of world-class queens and drag superstars, serving looks and face while guests enjoy drinks and canapés.
Founder of Mary’s Poppin, Stephen Craddock said, “It’s a privilege to run a venue like Mary’s Poppin where the community have a space to be themselves, and a great part of that privilege is being able to give back to that same community through events like The Queens Gala, which wouldn’t be possible without some incredible sponsors, who we are truly grateful to.”

An exclusive after party that will kick on at Mary’s Poppin with streamline entry for attendees of The Queens Gala and entertainment, DJs and dancing into the wee hours.
