Adelaide Fringe Review 2024: Yozi – No Babies in the Sauna

At the wonderfully inclusive venue My Lover Cindi, you will find yourself following Yozi into a world of structured chaos as they launch into stories of growth, humour, and learning.

It’s best to come into No Babies in the Sauna without knowing the premise or the stories, so without giving much away, I can say that Yozi is in their element when they are on the stage and has the ability to confidently hold their audience as they weave throughout a myriad of stories, and characters that intertwine throughout the show.

This is a truly absurdist, unique Fringe show that has been deeply thought-out and written. Its twists and turns take you across the world and back to the bedroom. Held together by a background and exploration of ‘the rules of comedy’, this is a quick-witted, intelligent comedy that I would encourage you to leave your expectations and the door and go and see.
