With so many high quality Australian acts on display at this year’s WOMADelaide, it is fantastic to see such confidence in the local product and have this appreciated by audiences on the big stages. Read our Day Two review.

Seven-piece rock outfit West Thebarton has capped off a stellar year by taking out four South Australian Music (SAM) Awards tonight, with other major category winners including MANE, A.B. Original and Adrian Eagle.
The final day of WOMADelaide 2017 provided many of the festival’s highlights. The rains had cleared, giving way to perfect autumnal weather that stretched into the late evening, and the slightly lower crowd numbers made for a wonderfully chilled vibe. Add to that a terrific line-up of acts, and it all made for a great end to the weekend.
The annual Laneway juggernaut is only a couple of weeks away from arriving in town and, it its 2017 incarnation, will boast a very impressive line-up. The Upside News has picked 5 things not to be missed at Hart’s Mill on 3rd February.
