The legendary Australian rock band Cold Chisel have announced the release of an expanded and updated version of their best-selling album All For You – The Best Of on Friday 28 September 2018.
Following its world premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival last week, new feature documentary Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Boy will be released in cinemas nationally this Thursday 23 August.
All the ingredients that have yielded Cold Chisel’s iconic status in Australian music were on display as they rocked the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Tuesday night, a performance that proved, even into the band’s fifth decade, they remain at the top of their game.
FM radio may be awash with ‘Flame Trees’, ‘Cheap Wine’ and ‘Khe Sanh’ but, as great as those established numbers are, listeners deserve hear the material on The Perfect Crime: the songs stack up very well against the older material, but have the advantage of freshness and variety.
The revamped Adelaide Oval was christened in spectacular fashion last night, with The Rolling Stones giving the audience a master-class in blues rock and old fashioned showmanship.
