English born and Australian made pop-jazz musician Sarah King, has announced the official launch of her self-titled debut EP at The Wheatsheaf Hotel on Sunday, 27 August with full band and string quartet.

The final day of WOMADelaide 2017 provided many of the festival’s highlights. The rains had cleared, giving way to perfect autumnal weather that stretched into the late evening, and the slightly lower crowd numbers made for a wonderfully chilled vibe. Add to that a terrific line-up of acts, and it all made for a great end to the weekend.

With half of the festival still to come, WOMADelaide Day 2 was another wonderful celebration of diversity, passion and musical virtuosity.
WOMADelaide 2017 kicked off in stunning conditions last night and, with the threat of rain later in the weekend, the enthusiastic Friday evening crowd were determined to make the most of the opportunity.
One of the first acts to hit the stage when WOMADelaide opens this evening is Xylouris White, a collaboration between Cretan lute player George Xylouris and Dirty Three drummer, Jim White.
Angus Stone is stoked to return to WOMADelaide after releasing Dope Lemon’s EP ‘Hounds Tooth.’
Despite slightly lower crowd numbers on the WOMAD Monday, the last day of the festival boasted some of the best performances.
Sunday at WOMAD was a hot day that gave way to a nicely chilled night.
