Last week in Adelaide, a new, Indian themed cocktail bar launched on Waymouth Street in the city.
Naya is an urban restaurant and bar which combines contemporary Indian cuisine with matching cocktails and beverages.
An innovation of acclaimed chef Ragini Dey, Naya is an exciting new part of Adelaide’s bar scene, which offers quick bites, full meals, exotic flavours and decadent cocktails.
On arrival at the launch on Thursday, we were greeted with butter chicken cocktails, a morsel of chicken on a skewer with a vodka tomato shot and a cup of spiced fries.
The Vindaloo Sour had an interesting kick with chilli flakes and the spices in the Chai Martini were reminiscent of a journey through India.
Chicken Tikka Marsala wraps were definitely favorites, but cheese balls with spicy tomato sauce and pakoras were also tasty.
Naya Bar is an interesting alternative to the regular cocktail bar.
