FILM REVIEW: SAUSAGE PARTY SIZZLES THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH

Sausage Party is not at all what you expect from an animated movie, but exactly what you would expect from a Seth Rogen comedy. The plot revolves around a packet of sausages, in particular, Frank, who is the protagonist of the film played by Seth Rogen, and focuses on his journey through the rest of the mall to find out the truth about the ‘Gods’. The stacked supporting cast of the film includes Michael Cera, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Edward Norton, James Franco, Bill Hader, Selma Hayak, Danny McBride, and Nick Kroll.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg bring something new to the table by flipping the usual Pixar formula on its head by making the film about everyday objects, but having it be intended for adults with its vulgar language and quirky brand of humour.

The animation in Sausage Party is at an extremely high level and added to the enjoyment of the whole concept.

The voice acting from all of the cast is fantastic, and no one in particular stands out from the rest, they all work perfectly with their own animated characters.

This film is a breath of fresh air in the comedy genre and managed to pull off a very unique concept in a hilarious way.

Sausage Party earns itself 4 out of 5 stars
