The Bowerbird Design Markets return to their new home at the Wayville Pavilion in the Adelaide Showgrounds from the 25 – 27 November.

Held twice a year in South Australia, Bowerbird is a national event, bringing together a hand-picked selection of the best independent contemporary Australian designers, alongside a strong representation of South Australia’s own.

Bowerbird has grown since humble beginnings in 2009 at The Queens Theatre to now being held at The Adelaide Showgrounds. This is Bowerbird’s seventh year hosting more than 150 hand-picked designers and makers from around the country.

Bowerbird Design Market is one of Australia’s leading contemporary design markets showcasing hundreds of stallholders and creative designers who produce homewares, fashion, lifestyle, lighting, artworks, jewellery, and stationary.  Every stall at Bowerbird is staffed by the creatives behind the products, providing a unique opportunity to hear the personal stories that influenced their creations.

A few of the designers this year include Botánica locally designing miniature gardens.

Olioko blending colour and geometry in a range of striking homewares. Leatherworks Adelaide producing quality, limited edition, handmade leather goods.
