The Adelaide Hills three-piece – comprised of Jackson Pagett, Ryan Williams, and Chris Williams – is on the rise.

An early passion for music has seen them performing to audiences of rosellas and lorikeets in primary school, playing covers at friends’ parties, and, more recently, rocking their sound at local gigs.

Sycamore’s sound is confidently displayed on an impressive debut single, Release. A stripped back intro ascends into an energetic ballad of soaring vocals, emotive guitars and heavy drums.

“Release is a power ballad about finding a release from your current situation; whether that reflects on feeling stuck in a rut or far darker themes is up to the interpretation of the listener,” the band says.

Isolation has provided the trio with plenty of studio time to work on their upcoming EP.
