LOCAL TALENT EXPO OFFERS AN EXCITING OUTLET FOR ASPIRING AND SEASONED CREATIVES

An exciting value packed event is on the horizon for South Australian creatives with Adelaide Talent Expo at The Parks Theatre this month offering a variety of free courses.

Running from 27 March – 28 March, the expo is a one-stop-shop for all aspiring, emerging and established performers looking to hone their talents or experiment with styles they’re not so familiar with.

Adelaide Talent Expo is bringing accessible and talent-focused performance education to the community with a weekend of acting workshops, Q&A sessions and a “Be Seen” performance zone where aspiring actors can pick up a script and be directed live.

Host to several representatives from Adelaide’s top creative organisations like State Theatre Company and Fresh 92.7, the event will also see some of the local industries biggest names such as former Head of Acting at NIDA Tony Knight, and Character-based Improvisation coach Dr Robert Marchand sharing their wealth of knowledge across the two-day event.

Attendees can also expect to hear from industry greats such as Mercury CX’s Karena Slaninka and Adelaide 48 Hour Film Festival’s Kristen Hamill who will provide industry insight and inspiration.

With numerous workshops available, Adelaide Talent Expo will also offer free Intro to Acting classes as an immersive experience for newcomers to dip their toes into the world of acting with creativity and confidence.

Those looking to delve into alternate styles and challenge their creative process can also expect opportunities to experience workshops in aerial dance, Shakespeare performance, voiceover, stand-up comedy, musical theatre, stunt and battle choreography.

Whether you’re already an acting enthusiast, or simply curious to try something new, the Adelaide Talent Expo has something for every skill level and interest in an open, inclusive and accessible environment.
