New Digs for Adelaide Gigs: Stacked Line Up Tonight!

The newest kid on the Adelaide live music block, Prompt Creative Centre is hosting its fist gig tonight, with a stacked four-band line-up of local talent.

With help from the State Government’s See It Live Venue funding, Prompt has been busy knocking out walls, building a stage and upgrading equipment to create a dynamic yet intimate live music space.

“It’s so important to have this kind of investment in local music and at a time when the industry needs it the most,” says Prompt manager Libby Parker. “Without this funding, we just wouldn’t have this high quality set up, and our musicians really need these opportunities after the struggles of the past few years.”

Prompt is a new multi-purpose creative centre located at 205 Pirie St in the city that also hosts the City of Adelaide cultural incubator program Vaulting Ambitions and will be a 2023 Fringe venue, planning a busy and diverse program of shows.

Tonight, Prompt will be opening its doors for the first time as a live music venue with a four-act line-up of local talent that includes guitar virtuoso MJ Turner and band, the KI/Adelaide blues outfit Road Kings, brilliant singer/songwriter Sienna Hart, and garage rockers The Dead Regulars.

Doors open at 7pm with the live music starting and 7:30 and going late.
