Recently, Adelaide Festival Centre was recognised at the prestigious 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards and the 2023 South Australian Music Awards, winning awards for three of its beloved festivals – Adelaide Cabaret Festival, DreamBIG Children’s Festival and Adelaide Guitar Festival.
The South Australian Tourism Awards showcases the achievements and business excellence within South Australia’s tourism sector with Adelaide Festival Centre’s Adelaide Cabaret Festival awarded Silver in the Major Festivals and Events category, and DreamBIG Children’s Festival was awarded Bronze in the Festivals and Events category, over the weekend.
Last Night, at the 2023 South Australian Music Awards, celebrating excellence in the South Australian contemporary music industry, recognised the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Adelaide Guitar Festival as Best Regional Venue or Activation for its On the Road program.

The Adelaide Cabaret Festival returns in 2024 from June 7 to 22 with a new Artistic Director, award-winning Australian stage and screen star, writer, and performer Virginia Gay.
DreamBIG Children’s Festival is the world’s longest-running children’s festival and will return to Adelaide Festival Centre in 2025 to engage, educate, and inspire children and families with a diverse program of events.Adelaide Guitar Festival’s On the Road will return in 2024 with world-class musicians and town-wide activations to regional locations to inspire, nurture and develop new local artists.
