Max Cooper’s 3D/AV is a sensory-intoxicating performance that wraps around you.

An audiovisual artist with a PhD in Computational Biology, Max has carved out a unique space by combining soaring music and mesmeric visuals. This Illuminate Festival show seamlessly combines science, experimental music, and visuals, immersing the audience in colour and sound.

Held at Hindley Steet Music Hall, the venue was a perfect space for such a high-tech, immersive event. Dominating the stage were two impressively giant mesh canvases wrapped around Max, projecting soaring imagery that twists and turns with the music.

Supported by record producer, musician, and installation artist Motez, an Iraqi-born Adelaide local, it was a perfect introduction with dance-floor-driven beats and images to match.
