LANEWAY turns 21 and announces huge lineup

Laneway turns 21 next year and has announced a bumper 2026 lineup to celebrate, featuring Chappell Roan, Wolf Alice, Wet Leg and plenty of other highlights.

The event also has a new home for the Adelaide leg, moving to the Wayville Showgrounds for the first time, and will be held on Saturday, 14 February 2026.

Making her festival debut, the Laneway circuit will also be Chappel Roan’s first full Australian tour and promises a 90-minute spectacle. Meanwhile, Mercury Prize-winning Wolf Alice return after being one of the standouts of the 2018 iteration (read our full review here), on the back of their sensational new album, The Clearing.

The event will be the first time Adelaide audiences can experience the tongue-in-cheek indie chaos of Wet Leg. Other international highlights include Lucy Dacus, PinkPantheress and Role Model.

On the local front, Laneway 2026 brings together the likes of The Belair Lip Bombs (who have recently signed with Jack White’s Third Man Records), Teen Jesus and Jean Teasers and Djanaba.

The Laneway Festival pre-sale opens Tuesday 23 September. General on-sale follows on Wednesday 24 September.
