SAM awards
Adelaide alternative band Submerge have a reputation for their energy charged live show and menacing melodies.
Having played around Adelaide for around three years, the band earned the title of Best Folk Artist at last year’s Music SA SAM Awards, so bassist Isaac Kerr, from the band popped in to give us his hot tips for this year’s winners (in no particular order).
Public voting for the people’s choice officially opens August 16 with only four weeks to vote, closing Monday September 17.
A stand out fixture on the UNESCO Adelaide City of Music’s calendar of events, the awards exist to recognise, promote and celebrate excellence in the South Australian contemporary music industry.
Music SA has announced a sterling line-up for the South Australian Music Awards (SAM Awards) after-party.
