If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids this school holidays, ice skating could be just the thing!
From 5-18 July, 10am-3pm, Castle Plaza are offering ice skating for children on a synthetic rink, which means it’s not cold or wet; but it’s all fun.

You’ll need to book in for a 45 minute session but it’s only $5 and free for adults accompanying children (minimum age is 5 years).
Niamh and Keeley Trainor enjoyed skating on the rink today and said the staff were “very kind and helpful and [they] had so much fun [they] want to do it all the time.”

As well as having the opportunity to learn to skate, kids were able to have a photo taken, hang out with the Nova 919 mascot and play a little ice hockey.
Staff are on hand to help nervous skaters and parents are encouraged to stick around to enjoy the fun.

And just when you think the ice couldn’t get any cooler, Zinc hairdressers are giving away vouchers for boys and girls to come and have their hair styled so they look awesome while they skate.
Bookings can be made through The Castle Plaza website, but hurry; places are filling fast!
