Record Store Day on Saturday 18th of April is a day to commemorate the goodness brought to us by our favourite record stores.

slippyOne such store is Adelaide’s independent music store, Clarity Records who are intending to mark the day by celebrating all night long.

Trading for 24 hours, from midnight Friday the 17th of April to midnight Saturday the 18th of April, Clarity Records will allow vinyl addicts to get their fix at their city store in the wee hours and the ones on either side of that.

On offer for the occasion will be a range of Record Store Day exclusive music releases from overseas, special limited edition t-shirts and a host of local treats.

Stocking new & secondhand records, CDs, fanzines, DVDS, books, t-shirts, patches, arts & craft, Clarity’s specialities include punk & hardcore, metal, gothic & industrial, rock, indie, experimental, soul / funk, reggae / dub, blues & roots music and more.

Clarity Records are a proud supporter of local Adelaide music and has a large section devoted to releases from homegrown acts from our fair city.

Clarity Records is located at 60 Pulteney Street in the heart of the city, a mere 20 metres from the east end of Rundle Mall. Give them a call (08) 8227 1421
