This week, Melbourne rock outfit White Summer are set to release new single ‘I Know A Place We Can Love’.

On May 22nd, ‘I Know A Place We Can Love’ will give fans the first taste of the new record set for release early 2016.

The track has already reached Triple J acclaim and can be streamed via the official premiere with Tone Deaf by clicking here.

unnamedLead vocalist Jimmy says the single is “a story of finding uninterrupted love, sex and intimacy, and making it last in an ever increasing conservative society.”

Following the success of their last single ‘Smoke Screen’ and shows with the likes of DMAs, Kingswood, The Delta Riggs, Harts and Stonefield, White Summer bunkered down in rural NSW to record their EP at Grove Studios

The band chose to work with ever-diverse producer Burke Reid, who has worked with the likes of The Drones, Seekae, Courtney Barnett, and DZ Deathrays.

White Summer are Jimmy Stanfield (lead vocalist), Michael Barnsley (guitarist), Anthony Zielke (bassist) and Alex Zielke (drummer).

The next few months will see the band go full steam ahead, starting with taking this first taste of the year on tour.

We hope they bring their show to Adelaide on their next tour.
