Atlanta hardcore group Sevendust are returning to Adelaide to play their first gig on Australian soil in six years, and supporting them in their happy return is South Aussie 12782134_10153639153773791_317451085_nband, Zelorage.

The three-piece NuMetal group made up of Sam Brand (vocals guitar), Rowan Brand (bass) and Mark Polst (drums) are stoked to be supporting their heroes.

“Everytime we see a band that has been a big influence on Zelorage touring Australia, we send in a support submission to the touring company to try to get the local opening slot. It just so happens that Sevendust’s management liked our music and gave us the go ahead,” drummer, Mark, says.

“We are definitely fans of Sevendust, myself especially. I grew up listening to their albums and basing a fair bit of my drumming from their drummer, Morgan Rose”

12788219_10153639153888791_145000583_nAs well as the chance to play alongside one of their major influences, the guys from Zelorage are keen to play at one of Adelaide’s best live music venues, and they’re ready to rock the place.

“We cannot wait to share the stage with the guys. It going to be unreal to meet them and to finally play at The Gov to a huge crowd. The Gov is one of my favourite venues in Adelaide. I’ve seen so many huge acts grace the stage there, and I’ve always dreamt of playing at such a premier venue! All of the Zelorage boys are stoked,” Mark says.

“Expect an intense show! We have picked half an hour of our most energetic songs to warm the crowd up. Songs from all three of our albums and possibly a new track.”

12804314_10153639153873791_1337648627_nMark can confirm the new single will be out shortly, followed by a tour and an album.

“This year will see a new single out in the next few months, followed by a string of South Australian and Victorian tour dates, and a new album on the way towards the end of 2016,” he says.

“We are really hoping to win the Legion Music Fest competition, but 2016 is all about new material and a whole lot of shows.”

The guys, who all met in high school, will play The Gov on Monday, March 14, with tickets available through Metropolis Touring.

There are also a handful of cheaper tickets available if you message Zelorage on Facebook.
