It is pretty obvious that Suzi Quatro loves Australian audiences.

Since her rise to household name status back in the early seventies, Suzi has toured here 31 times – and in February 2017, she will make her way across the globe and hit our shores again for tour number 32!

Whilst she will no doubt be playing to many of her diehard fans who have seen her play before, this time around there is a novel twist to her latest show which should attract some new punters to the gig who will be curious to see how she goes about being her own support act!

Suzi will be playing an early set as one member of her new power trio, a glam super-group if you will, alongside Andy Scott, from the original line-up of The Sweet, and Don Powell, the original sticksman for glam stompers, Slade.

Calling themselves ‘QSP’, they will be playing selections from their upcoming self-titled album which is due for release in January.

The second half of the show will feature Suzi’s 8-piece band playing selections from across her 45 year career as a solo artist.

This will mean that her fans will be able to sing along to classics from her first wave of hits such as Can The Can, 48 Crash, Devil Gate Drive and Daytona Demon, through to mid-career hits such as Your Mamma Won’t Like Me and Stumblin’ In.

Who knows? She may even feel like doing some songs from her acclaimed West End musical career, or maybe even read some poems from her recently released collection, Through My Eyes!

Whatever Suzi decides to include on her set-list for the Adelaide leg of her Leather Forever Encore Tour next February, there is little doubt that after five decades in the business she will deliver just what her audience wants.

So if you like to ‘rock hard’, leather up and grab yourself a ticket now!

Suzi Quatro and QSP play the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday February 9.
