Lovers of Pink Floyd will be able to take in EXPERIENCE FLOYD’s spectacular show at Thebarton Theatre on November 5th.
As a special treat for their home town fan base, EXPERIENCE FLOYD are also excited to announce that they’ll be putting together an all-new show with a few surprises for fans.
Keyboardist Paul Bindig said, “We’ve spent hours rehearsing a new show and set list to give our home town fans a different experience from our last Thebby show. But we’ll still definitely be playing all the favourites they know and love too. After some amazing shows on tour in regional SA and Victoria we’re obviously thrilled to be playing at home again and we’re looking forward to a really special night.”
The show features hits from seminal albums Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall and many other albums, performed by Daniel Hunter on lead guitar; Jason Miller on drums; Mark Dole on bass; Paul Bindig on keyboards and synthesisers; Mark MacNab on rhythm and acoustic guitar and Matt Goodluck on lead vocals. The band also features the talents of Jo Christie, Maria Stone and Lauren Grant on backing vocals and Alan Bindig on keyboard and 3rd guitar, with special guest Greg Huxtable on saxophone.
EXPERIENCE FLOYD’S Daniel Hunter said, “We respect what the original Pink Floyd gave to the world with their music and we want to give this gift to the audience who may not have had a chance to experience a Pink Floyd concert. With our 11-piece band and spectacular light and video show we aim to ensure every aspect of the original Pink Floyd concert experience is captured authentically.”
Drummer Jason Miller said, “We are excited to be making our return to Thebby after a hugely successful year on the road. We were humbled by the enthusiastic reception we received at our last home town gig, and this has motivated us to expand the show to give our audience a real treat.”
After their stunning debut to rave reviews last year, the Immanuel Primary School Choir will again perform Pink Floyd’s mega hit Another Brick In The Wall Part 2, with one lucky student having the opportunity to take on an expanded role in the concert this year.
Tickets for the show may be purchased directly from the Ticketmaster, or on EXPERIENCE FLOYD’s website.
