Metallica have announced they are finally bringing their WorldWired Tour to Australia and New Zealand, in what could be the biggest tour of the year.
These shows will be Metallica’s first ever headline stadium plays in Australia and will be the first time the band has visited Adelaide since Soundwave 2013 and their headline shows at Adelaide Entertainment Centre back in 2010.
This will be the first time for Australian fans to hear new songs off of their 2016 album Hardwired… To Self Destruct.
Making these shows even bigger is the addition of Slipknot as the support act. Slipknot will be returning to Australia with new music from their yet untitled upcoming album out on August 9th.
Metallica and Slipknot perform at Adelaide Oval on October 20.
