It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year and it’s coming up fast!

The Royal Adelaide Show will run from August 30 to September 8 and is jam packed with things to do, see, eat, drink, experience and enjoy.

By pre-purchasing your tickets, you can save at least 10% off the gate price to make your show dollars go a little further.

The Family Value Pack is a great way for families on a budget to experience the Show, and includes Show entry for four people, food and drink vouchers, two showbag vouchers, $40 of BankSA discount ride coupons and parking at Mile End, with free shuttle-bus transfers to and from the Show for $155.

Show goers can also buy 100 coupons for $80 or 40 coupons for $35 to get more bang for their buck, with each coupon having a face value of $1 and can be redeemed at any ride.

As well as the rides and showbags, there will be entertainment aplenty with the musical extravaganza Greatest Musical Moments on the Goyder Stage, which will showcase a variety of famous musical performances from the stage and screen.

And this year’s Mid-Show entertainment line-up includes Peppa Pig and Family, Nickelodeon Shimmer & Shine and Angry Birds on the Goyder Stage Monday to Thursday.

Children of all ages will also enjoy the Safari Zoo Adventure located in Kids’ Corner, which will feature appearances from Alex the Lion from DreamWorks Madagascar and Skipper from DreamWorks Penguins of Madagascar.

The Royal Adelaide Show will also be celebrating a number of key milestones, including 50 years of the Ferris Wheel, 90 years of the CWA and 100 years of the Angus Society of Australia, which is the feature breed for beef cattle this year.

Other feature breeds this year include Guernsey (Dairy Cattle), Berkshire (Pigs), Leghorns (Poultry) as well as Bernese Mountain Dogs, German Shorthair Pointers and Siberian Huskies in the Dog section.
