For those feeling a bit basic in their day-to-day look, Sensation Makeup Artistry is here to help with a Basics to Beauty Masterclass next month.
Owned and operated by industry professional Alastair W Mosey, Sensation Makeup Artistry is a company dedicated to catering to students of all levels and abilities.
Alastair says the Basics to Beauty Masterclasses, which starts January 25 at the Duke of Brunswick from 10am until 4pm promises to leave students with confidence, knowhow and a newfound cosmetic ability.
“I started Sensation Makeup Artistry to fill a void in the market with inclusivity. I noticed students living with disability or with learning difficulties weren’t catered to in this type of education. Through the courses I was running, I found a real rise in confidence for people who came along to learn basic skills,” he says.
“I come from a home with an autistic brother and sister who I love dearly, and I want to help other people who have had similar issues in life and make sure everyone has access to the best in education and skills training.”
With more than 13 years of experience in the industry, including a decade as a makeup teacher, Alastair has designed his workshops to give people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds the skills to apply their own makeup with precision and style.
“The Basics to Beauty Masterclass is a fantastic way of building valuable skills in the makeup industry and building self confidence in, not only your abilities but also your appearance and how you view yourself. I am passionate about ensuring everyone walks out of the class feeling good about themselves and feeling like they can apply makeup like a pro,” Alastair says.
The Basics To Beauty Workshop will run every month in Adelaide CBD and seeks to help you improve your confidence in your own appearance or simply learn some incredible skills to take out into the world.
