A Starry Festival, featuring an exciting line-up of four cabaret, theatre and live shows, including two Adelaide Premieres, will sparkle this month.

Playing at The Regal Theatre from Thursday 19 November through to Sunday 21 November, a line up of spectacular entertainers will welcome in the festive season.

Featuring Carlotta, Trevor Ashley, Kym Purling and Tim Draxi, A Starry Festival is set to light up the gorgeous Regal.

CARLOTTA in I’M NOT DEAD YET, DARLINGS!

Following a sell out season at Adelaide Fringe, Carlotta is back in Adelaide with a new show I’m Not Dead Yet, Darlings! for A Starry Festival 2020 with more stories and songs from 50 years on and off the stage. Australian icon, political activist and living legend, Carlotta has led an extraordinary life: good times, bum times, she’s seen them all and my dear, she’s still here. Carlotta will be accompanied on piano by Helpmann Award winner Michael Griffiths.

Australian queen of cabaret, Trevor Ashley, brings his brand new Liza Minnelli show to town. In the most fun way to cap off the craziest of years, Ms Minnelli will stumble her way through a fabulously festive catalogue of songs, with smatterings of mistletoe and lashings of egg nog. From Silver Bells to White Christmas, Liza will regale you with stories from her childhood with Mama under the tree, and that time she missed it completely while dancing at Studio 54.

TIM DRAXL FROM THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE … TO THE REGAL IN AS IF WE NEVER SAID GOODBYE

Tim Draxl is one of Australia’s premier cabaret artists and a successful actor who’s career spans almost two decades. 
 
Earlier this year, Tim appeared in his first ever virtual concert which was live streamed around the world as part of Sydney Opera House’s digital cabaret season, From Our House To Yours. In 2019, he premiered the critically acclaimed cabaret show Love Is A Drag for the Inaugural Sydney Cabaret convention for which he received a Sydney Theatre Award nomination for Best Cabaret Production. 

Easily one of Australia’s best cabaret artists, Tim Draxl will take to the stage in a very special one off performance. Accompanied by a grand piano and an eclectic mix of the best hits from his career, get set as Tim whisks us away with his cool cabaret.
