Adelaide Fringe favourite magician and comedian Dom Chambers is making a triumphant return this year to the Garden of Unearthly Delights with his brand-new show A Boy and His Deck from 19 February – 21 March.
Audiences will never look at a deck of cards the same again after experiencing Dom’s up close and personal show through the use of a giant screen that will leave crowds questioning all that they see.
Shining a light on close-up magic, A Boy and His Deck has the ambitious goal of of bringing glory to the world’s credible art form that is magic.
The America’s Got Talent semi-finalist has reached global heights in his career through his modern approach to magic while honing his craft with Penn and Teller: Fool Us and the Broadway hit, The Illusionists.
Spending the last year in a never ending Melbourne lockdown, Dom is thrilled to be returning to Adelaide to pick up where he left off for evenings of magic and mentalism.
“I’m so excited to be heading back to the Adelaide Fringe, the 2020 Fringe was my last time touring with my own show; it feels great to come back and kick off my next tour where it all began,” he says.
A Boy and His Deck is Presented by MindBlown Productions, the brain child of Adelaide’s own iconic magician and mentalist Matt Tarrant who says Dom’s Fringe presence is a great showcase of talent this season.
“I love being able to showcase talent such as Dom as part of my work as a producer at MindBlown. 2021 is such an important time to help artists get back on stage in front of live audiences,” says Matt.
