Unapologetically tearing pieces off his hometown crowd in the Spiegletent at the Garden Of Unearthly Delights – Sam Simmons delivers a tirade of lesser-known stories about A to Z grade celebrities he may (or may not) have worked with.
Serving up brutal opinions and half truths that leave the audience stupefied with doubt, all while
philanthropically raising awareness for people who not have good knees
Take a step into Simmons’ world and you will be submitted to short and tall tales of Daniel Radcliffe’s mischievous ways, Toby McGuire’s Ikea fantasies and sock puppets, Liam Neeson love affairs and why sports journalist Mark (Beretts) Beretta simply is a c#%t.
While Simmons is often more widely know for his outlandish physical prop ridden performances and debaucherous musical-esc pieces, his new show offers a more under produced, raw and direct interaction with the twisted style of comedy genius that stirs in the mind of one of Adelaide’s most prolific comedians.
Audience members that dared to have conversations and heckle during the set hastily succumbed to being drilled into subjects, finding themselves in the corner of the ring holding peek-a-boo guard and waiting for the blows to stop if not to be saved by the bell. So don’t dither, Saddle up and gallop on down to The Spiegletent at the Garden of Unearthly Delights
15th until the 21st of March, 9:30pm and prepare for the best of the worst.
