NEW SINGLE, NEW TOUR FOR LIME CORDIALE

Armed with a new single, ‘Facts of Life’, Lime Cordiale are about to embark on an extensive tour that swings by Adelaide on a lap of the country before heading to Europe.

It has been a prolific couple of years for the band, with an impressive creative output starting with their stunning 2020 debut album, 14 Steps to a Better You, which ranked amongst our best albums of that year.

And then there was 2021’s most unexpected (but charming) collaboration with actor (and Bond favourite), Idris Elba on the Cordi Elba project, serving up delightful tracks like ‘Apple Crumble’ and ‘What’s Not to Like’.

Now the Leimbach brothers and their ensemble return with a fresh, standalone tune, a dose of breezy surf pop produced by David K Haddad.

“Get kooky and make mistakes because these are the facts of life,” says Oli Leimbach, describing the inspiration behind the new song.

“The song is about the feelings that surround new experiences. That fresh excitement that surrounds being young and naïve, soaked in sexual tension is something to cherish,” adds Louis Leimbach.

The ensuing Facts of Life tour goes right around the country, with the band performing Thebarton Theatre on Friday 13 May, followed by dates in Europe that stretch from June to November.

‘Facts of Life’ is available now, with tour and ticket details available here.
