The Hilltop Hoods certainly meant ‘show business’ at their final Show Business Tour date in Adelaide.
The tour was the band’s first since 2019 and it was clear they were having the time of their lives playing on home soil.
“Three years, three years we’ve been apart from you guys, and we have missed you so much,” Suffa told the crowd, who were just as happy to see them, too.
The tour celebrated the release of the Hoods’ brand new single ‘Show Business,’ which features US singer songwriter Eamon.
With supporting acts, A.B Original, Elsy Wameyo and DJ Total Eclipse, the night was nothing but incredible.
Beginning with the hit, ‘Leave me Lonely’, there was no doubt the show was going to be unbelievable when the curtain fell, the first beat dropped, and the crowd screamed.
Hoods opened with four of their oldies but goodies and kept the ball rolling playing their newest release, ‘Show Business’ which was a crowd favourite.
Lead singer and songwriter, MC Pressure had nothing but good things to say about Adelaide and its energetic crowd, telling us, “This is my favourite place in the world to play.”
The Hoods also had a surprise specifically for Adelaide with a guest appearance from Illy to perform, ‘Exit Sign.’
As a long term fan, I didn’t want the night to end and I’m so glad I got to see the trio (and their killer support line up) at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
A.B Original performed some of their new music alongside tracks from their iconic debut album Reclaim Australia with Adelaide rising star, Elsy Wameyo giving us a performance to die for; there is no question as to why the show was sold out, it was simply incomparable..
As Suffa said to us, “We’ve finished our national tour and what better place to finish than our hometown of Adelaide?” and they gave us a show to end all shows – but we can rest assured there will be many more where that one came from, because the boys are in show business to stay.
