A South Aussie favourite gin distillery is keeping its same premium taste, but taking on a new name.

Introducing Flagship Distillery (formerly known as Pennant Distillery) which is this week unveiling its new brand name, while ensuring we continue to enjoy their signature spirits crafted with quality and care.

The new branding will carry forward the recipes and dedication that have made their gin a favourite amongst the local hospitality scene and gin lovers alike, from their celebrated Navy Strength gin to their full range of premium, small-batch spirits.

Founded by distiller Cameron Shaw, Flagship Distillery brings a wealth of experience and a passion for South Australian craftsmanship into every bottle.

This rebranding follows a cease and desist notice from a multinational regarding the previous name. In response, the brand embraced the opportunity to evolve its identity while staying true to its roots in small batch, high-quality distilling.

In addition to the relaunch, Flagship Distillery is honoured to announce its new role as the official gin partner for Adelaide Fringe 2025, Australia’s biggest arts festival.

This meaningful partnership underscores the brand’s commitment to supporting the arts and South Australian culture.

By joining forces with Adelaide Fringe, Flagship Distillery is proud to contribute to the local arts scene and enrich the festival experience for South Australians and visitors alike.

Lovers of gin should keep an eye out for a limited edition gin produced in partnership with Adelaide Fringe which is expected to be in stores and all good bars in early January, just ahead of South Australia’s bustling festival season.
