Expect beautiful vocal performances backed by a fabulously groovy band who never miss a beat. Bond Songs: The Music of 007 has something for everyone—classic songs from a bygone era, Oscar-winning tracks, and amazing anecdotes and tidbits seamlessly peppered throughout the show.
There was not a thing I would change about this bittersweet production. The Soaking of Vera Shrimp from Patch of Blue is decidedly a 5-star show, and a favourite of the Fringe season.
Be warned, Portals will make you feel deeply, and that is entirely the point. It is lovingly crafted to prompt reflection on humanity and the strange, wonderful and heartbreaking experience of being awake, alive and aware. So, step through the portal. Experience something transcendently beautiful. And let it linger in your thoughts long after the final curtain falls.
