It’s been a while since we’ve had a WOMADelaide in heat like this. Temperatures reaching in the high thirties had the crowd searching for any available patch of shade during the daytime, as they listened to the the excellent music on offer.

A massive lineup consisting of punk legends, Refused, hardcore new york punks, Sick Of It All and up comers High Tension filled HQ venue on Jan 22, giving Adelaide a 101 history on the shape of punk.
These shows take the artist and the fans back to a moment in time, allowing everyone in the room to reflect and celebrate a moment in their younger self’s life, for better or worse. These shows are an opportunity to see The Used at their peak. Their masterful experience after 14 years of touring and instrumental practice makes this the best performance of their most iconic and beloved album.
Frank Iero has managed to produce a killer discography of punk rock tunes while cementing himself as a frontman and admirable vocalist. The band has managed to make a distinctive name for themselves with a unique and refreshing sound and a small kick back with a nostalgic nod to Frank’s past.
The band has matured and brought a new element to their sound with this now 5-piece band. It may not be their best album ever, but it may go down as, Chuck 2.0.
