On May 10, 1996, mountain climbers (Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin) from two separate expeditions start their final ascent to the summit the highest point on earth; Mount Everest.

Suddenly, and with little warning, a violent storm hits the mountain, submerging the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered.
In the harshest conditions imaginable, the climbers endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in a battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.

Directed by Baltasar Kormakur and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Keira Knightley, Jason Clarke and Robin Wright, Everest is a feat in itself, which has been tackled and won.
