In exciting news for Adelaide indie pop group Germein Sisters, the trio are set to open for everyone’s favourite Irish superstar Ronan Keating on his upcoming Time Of My Life Tour in Germany next month.
Siblings, Georgia (guitar, keys), Ella (electric cello, bass) and Clara Germein (drums) have been making waves in Germany since their debut single ‘Da Da Doo’ entered the Top 100 Mainstream Radio charts.
Also notable, the young women recently performed radio concerts for SR1 Saarbruken and SW1 Radio Mainz, played at The Steiger Awards, Almased Arena featuring Peter Maffay, Friedrichshof Palace for the Prince of Hessen, performed on Fernsehgarten National TV, and represented Australia at the Women of the World Festival in Frankfurt.
The South Australian trio has been compared to the likes of The Corrs, Haim, and Echosmith because of their catchy melodies, flawless harmonies and energetic live show.
German Sisters recently toured the UK, which included a follow up invitation to The Isle Of Wight Festival on the back of their performance in 2015 (Fleetwood Mac, Pharrell Williams).
The 2016 Festival saw Germein Sisters sharing stages with Status Quo and Gabrielle Aplin, with headliners including Queen, The Who and Jess Glynn.
While jet setting across the world is nothing new for Germein Sisters, they are thrilled to be supporting Ronan Keating in Europe.
