Adelaide’s Punk Festival, SCUMFEST, have announced their 2016 special “Re-union Edition” lineup held on November 26, at Old Queen’s Theatre.
This year’s lineup will feature headline sets from the reuniting Australian hardcore legends, Conation and 90s South Australia punk heroes, 99 Reasons Why.
Scumfest has managed to reunite three more legendary punk acts for this year’s lineup to smash out some classic sets. Punk favourites, The Jerks will re-band for one-show-only. Accompanying them will be Adelaide’s favourite punk-uncles the, Blood Sucking Freaks and the hardcore metal groovers of the late 90’s, Three Chain Break.
Joining these old punk-geezers of Adelaide will be ‘dads-favourite-beach-ball-party-metal-core-band’, Totally Unicorn, the dark cacophonous rock of, Mere Women, punchy spazz punk trio, Hannahband, party rat-bags, Mesa Cosa, raucous street punks, Wolfpack and local party-starters God God Dammit Dammit.
As always Scumfest will feature numerous local acts including local legends, West Thebarton Brothel Party, The Dunes, The Ghost Orchestra and Scum Vegas. Overall it’s a massive local lineup and arguably the best Scumfest lineup yet.
