KYLIE BRICE BAND SET TO PLAY CHANGE ORIGINAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

It’s no secret we are huge fans of Kylie Brice’s music here at The Upside News, which is why we are thrilled she is set to play Change Original Music Festival with her band.

Happening over three consecutive weekends, the festival originated in 2014 as a way to celebrate Gawler’s 175th Anniversary.

Lauded an immediate success with local businesses and community leaders, and the Mayor of Gawler, coming on board as sponsors, Change Original Music Festival has continued to grow and impress.

Now in it’s fifth year, the festival has taken out Gawler’s Community Event of the Year award adding to its popular appeal.

Regularly performing her original songs around Adelaide, Kylie Brice has a reputation for warming the hearts of listeners of all ages with her emotional honesty and catchy melodies.

2018 has seen Kylie with a fresh band line-up, adding electric guitar and drums to the mix, creating a fuller sound to the acoustic trio, which she will showcase at this year’s Change Original Music Festival.

Kicking off at 3pm on Sunday September 30 in the courtyard of the Kingsford Hotel, the line up boasts Teresa Law Band, followed by Post Fiction, Chica Chica Electrica and Release the Hounds.

Then from 3pm Monday October 1, still at the Kingsford, Henk Groot will play, followed by Rob “Pigsy” Spencer, Sympathy Orchestra and Hoggy’s Barrow.

Extending to three days, the final day begins at 1.30pm on Sunday October 7 at the Criterion Tavern with Tall Tales, followed by Kylie Brice Band, Cherubo, and then to take us home, Exeter Blues.

Entry to the event is FREE, family friendly and caters for all tastes in music styles.
