This year’s Tasting Australia program kicks off in a couple of weeks, but you’d better grab your tickets fast because 18 events on the program have already sold out!
Running between April 5 to 14 in more than 120 venues across Adelaide and regions, Tasting Australia packed program of intimate dinners, long lunches, culinary day-trips, classes, wine tasting sessions and more will feature over 70 Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs and winemakers from around the world.
Pop-up restaurant the Glasshouse Kitchen will return as the glittering heart of festival hub Town Square, and Tasting Australia Airlines flights are also taking off, with trips including lunch prepared by star chefs Cheong Liew, Maggie Beer, Adam Liston and more, beverages, and a luxurious day of dining and tourism experiences in stunning regional locations.

Tasting Australia kicks off on Friday April 5 when free festival hub Town Square officially opens in Victoria Square with the theme of “Small Plates” – an all-day grazing mecca with multiple food vendors and bars.
Opening celebrations continue that night with Of the Moment – The Opening Night Party where guests will be treated to a surprise menu of once-in-a-lifetime dishes of local ingredients sourced on the day by chefs Zonfrillo (Restaurant Orana, Adelaide), David Thompson (Aaharn, Hong Kong), Paul Carmichael (Momofuku Seiobo, Sydney) and Darren Robertson (Three Blue Ducks, Sydney) with matched wines by Yalumba.
Other program highlights include top chefs cooking their take on the classic pub schnitzel at The Stag Public House in SchnittFest, the second annual Tasting Australia Spirit Awards, premium wine dinners at Yalumba, Henschke Cellars, and the Legends in Clare Valley lunch at Pikes winery.
