Kids can explore a galaxy of science and have fun whilst learning from home thanks to author, Women in STEM Ambassador and ABC Stargazing Live presenter Lisa Harvey-Smith’s virtual workshops!
Lisa will be presenting this exciting three-part journey to the stars on April 15, May 6 and June 10.
These interactive live-streamed events will teach young stargazers (as well as curious kids stuck at home) all about the universe as Lisa reads from her children’s book Under the Stars: Astrophysics for Bedtime and answers kid’s questions.
During the May event, Lisa will lead children into a star-gazing adventure (which can be done from your child’s backyard, balcony or bedroom-window) where kids will learn how to view the moon and stars using a free smartphone app and learn incredible facts about the night sky.
