Adelaide Fringe favourite, comedian, nurse, wife and mother extraordinaire Georgie Carroll is coming to town to give audiences a much-needed dose of comedy, curated over eight years of sold-out shows.
Hanging up her scrubs for good this year and venturing into the world of full-time comedy, Georgie will take to the stage at The Garden of Unearthly Delights from 23rd February-7th March.
Georgie knows the best kind of medicine is non-stop laughter, all killer, no filler, and that’s exactly what she’ll be delivering in an hour long show of all her greatest hits.
“I want people to laugh like they have never laughed before. I want their faces to ache after. I want them to need oxygen and a change of pants. If they aren’t laughing that hard, they need a doctor to check what’s wrong with them,” she says.
After 20 years of emergency and intensive care nursing experience, Georgie had an action-packed 2020 as a frontline health worker as well as launching her podcast ‘The Swab’ following her 3 Stages of Nursing video going viral with over 6.4 million views.
Regularly appearing as a comic panellist across Australian television such as The Project, Celebrity Name Game and Shaun Micallef’s Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation, Georgie can’t wait to have you in stiches this Adelaide Fringe.
