If the Vagina Monologues married a sideshow circus, you’d get Alexandra the Great’s Diary of a Sideshow Showgirl.
This part memoir, part freakshow, part death-defying stunt show is playing at Arthur Artbar and is set to reveal secrets from the other side of the circus curtain.
“I have been Fringing for a few years now, but this is my debut solo show,” Alexandra says. “There is a vulnerability and an awkwardness in this show that is going to be very relatable to misfits and weirdos.”
Raw, vulnerable and real with a hint of hold your breath, Diary of a Sideshow Showgirl is playing for a short season in March, so satisfy your curiosity for knowing the real story of the life of a fabulous carnie and grab your tickets HERE.
