Playing cards, a mysterious underground legend, and an impossible quest for both approval and individuality Dom Chambers – A Boy And His Deck will give a hilarious glimpse into the life of an obsessed teenager trying to find his path as a magician.

A regular at Adelaide Fringe, Dom, who has been seen on Penn and Teller: Fool Us and America’s Got Talent is bringing about 500 playing cards to the stage and he reckons you’ll love what he’s got in store for you.

“This is my fifth Adelaide Fringe. I’m not sure if that qualifies me for veteran status, but Adelaide Fringe is deadset my favourite thing in Australia. So, I’ll be here for as long as audiences will have me,” he says.

“I’ve been super happy and surprised by the wide and varied audiences that have embraced the show so far. And I reckon they love the ending. I’m not sure if it’s the best or stupidest trick I’ve ever made. Either way, you won’t forget it. This show is honestly my favourite thing I’ve ever made, and I’m busting to share it with an audience.”
