Adelaide Fringe Review: Nona Mona: Hot Spinster, Gluttony 2023

The next chapter in the story of comedian, actor, former stripper, former Miss Burlesque and current single lady Nona Mona, Hot Spinster is hilarious, clever and powerful.

Following her debut show Nona Mona: Hot Mess, this new iteration follows Nona’s journey into spinsterdom.

The one-hour show at The Bally at Gluttony brings non-stop laughs through sketch comedy, clowning, stand-up, and clever use of audio and voice-over; all complemented by a little audience interaction – with pets (you have to see it to believe it).

Hot Spinster is perfect for the singles, but it’s also fun for everyone who has ever been in a relationship, just out of a relationship or looking to find one.

A finalist in RAW Comedy this year, Nona’s career is on an upward trajectory and it won’t be long before she’s a headliner, so get along to see her so you can say you were part of the journey.

If you love cats, plants and fun, this is the show for you. Even if you don’t love those things, this show is for you.

Round up your single friends and let Nona Mona empower you through a wit so sharp, it’s almost dangerous.
