HOUNDWAVE IS HERE FOR DOG AND MUSIC LOVERS ALIKE

Dog lovers unite! The inaugural Houndwave is upon us. Adelaide’s Light Square (Wauwi) will be a flurry of fur and panting from 11am – 4pm this Saturday, April 1 as we celebrate the bond humans and dogs have shared for millennia.

With the aim to make Adelaide a more dog friendly city, The Adelaide West End Association along with charity partners RSPCA and the Animal Welfare League invite you to let the dogs out for a day of fun.

A string of local music acts will be there to keep you entertained, including Thom Lion, Donnarumma, Paige Court, Sasha March, Todd Sibbin, and more. There will be food for both human and dog, and stalls to get your furry friend some new accessories.

For adults wanting a drink, Chihuahua Bar will be keeping your glass full with selections from Dandelion and Heirloom Wines.

Something troubling your doggo? Vet Partners Adelaide Vets will be on site for you to ask questions about your pet’s health with your chance to win a year of veterinary care worth up to $695.00.

Think your dog is a fashionista or just like getting them dressed up in ridiculous costumes? Well, show us what you’ve got by entering your pooch into the best dressed competition.

This is a FREE community event, so even if you aren’t the lucky owner of a four legged friend, there will be plenty to see and do. Bring the whole family and a picnic blanket and make a day of it. The only rule is you #mustlovedogs!

For more information head to the Houndwave website and Facebook event.

P.S. If you are coming along, please remember dogs must be on a leash at all times and must be vaccinated. Read the house rules here.
