FRINGE REVIEW: IVY + BEAN THE MUSICAL, BAKEHOUSE THEATRE, 2018

Presented by The Gemini Collective, Ivy + Bean The Musical is a beautifully presented, super fun production which would suit 4-9 year olds (and parents!)

Ivy and Bean both live in Pancake Court and they begin the show as enemies but then they find common ground in their annoyance over Bean’s meanie sister Nancy.

They set about hatching a plan to take a lesson which ranges from casting a dance spell to setting a world record by collecting the most worms with the help of Bean’s friends.

Based on the mischievous second-grade heroines of The New York Times best-selling stories by Annie Barrow, Ivy + Bean The Musical (book, music and lyrics by Scott Elmegreen) is an adorable production presented by six incredibly talented performers.

Funny, engaging and delightfully sweet, Ivy + Bean The Musical is one to put on your list of things to see at Fringe with the kids. TICKETS.

But don’t take our word for it. Check out the opinion of some experts in the field.
