ADELAIDE FRINGE REVIEW: COMFORT FOOD CABARETTHE JOINERY, 2018

Food, music and good company… who could ask for more? No one who goes to see Michelle Pearson’s Comfort Food Cabaret, that’s for sure – it’s completely and utterly satisfying.

Michelle shares everything with the audience, from dating stories, memories of her late father, through to the food she cooks right there in front of the audience.

In this unique cabaret, we enjoy a taste of a three course meal in between Michelle’s renditions of some of her favourite songs, a couple being clever parodies around the theme of food and eating.

Accompanied by the uber talented Aaron Nash on keyboard, Michelle’s voice is rich, crisp and absolutely divine.

Chatting easily with the audience, the songstress is delightfully genuine, charismatic and funny.

Comfort Food Cabaret is an absolute must see; it’s deliciously satisfying.
