After receiving rave reviews, award nominations and wins at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, World Tour is set to debut in The Garden of Unearthly delights as part of the 2019 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
UK sketch comedy sensation The Sleeping Trees, made up of James Dunnell-Smith, Joshua Smith and John Woodburn is set to have you in fits of laughter.
The trio, who are resident MC’s at the esteemed Comedy Garden at London’s Battersea Arts Centre, spent a decade share-house living and performing together and now they have engineered a ten-year anniversary show to pay homage to their artistic journey as well as seek revenge for years of practical jokes.
World Tour is a comedy sketch show based around friendship, hardship and endurance as the group embark on a failed ‘world tour’.
With a plot that leaves everything to the imagination, look on and laugh on as the show’s protagonists encounter the bizarre and dangerous on their own cross-cultural journeys.
A tongue-in-cheek metaphor for the group’s friendship and connection over all that is funny, World Tour delivers a unique style of fast-paced, surreal, sketch comedy.
World Tour plays from 15 Feb – 17 Mar at 7.00pm at The Garden of Unearthly Delights in Campanile.
