Off the back of a successful season at Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide’s newest improv company, Tenuous Link, is kicking down doors and yelling “Freeze!” in their new show at the 2019 Adelaide Fringe, A Total Cop Out.

A completely improvised spoof of your favourite cop shows, A Total Cop Out is coming out with all guns blazing for an exclusive six show season at The Duke of Brunswick Hotel.

“We are thrilled to be bringing the show to the Duke of Brunswick, a venue that wholeheartedly supports the Adelaide improv scene year-round. A Total Cop Out is set to give you a totally legal high and a very arresting experience,” says producer and performer Claire Bottrall. “It’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine if Castle joined the squad,”

A Total Cop Out sees six of Adelaide’s best improvisers ducking and rolling to create and solve a brand new crime every show with the help of an expert from an unlikely field: where both the crime and the area of expertise is chosen by the audience!

Producer and performer Paul Gordon says, “We love shows like Instinct and Medium and can’t wait to see what kinds of experts our audiences will think up!”

Adelaide audiences will love seeing some of their favourite performers from other Improv Adelaide Fringe-stoppers again in this new adventure! A Total Cop Out stars Improv Adelaide veterans Claire Bottrall, Paul Gordon, Sam Hobbs-Griffin, Will Mellor, Eden Trebilco and Kirsty Wigg, all of who have been making audiences laugh for years in sell-out shows such as Improvised Improv by Changing Jennifers, UnPlotted Potter by Scriptease, and Upstairs Downton by Improv Adelaide’s Soap!.
