FRINGE REVIEW: GLITTERY CLITTERY, GARDEN OF UNEARTHLY DELIGHTS, 2019

Funny, fabulous and fiercely feminist, Fringe Wives Club has some really important things to say and the best bit is, they say it in song.

Featuring Victoria Falconer (Time Out London’s Top 10 Cabaret Stars, EastEnd Cabaret), Tessa Waters (Winner: Best Comedy Weekly, Adelaide Fringe 2017) and Rowena Hutson (Winner: Best Comedy, Melbourne Fringe 2015), Glittery Clittery discusses the crucial issues of our time: feminism, clothes with pockets and vulvas.

With some wonderfully written songs and utterly hilarious moments, Glittery Clittery is the ideal cabaret recipe of song, sass and sequins.

While there were issues with the sound that drowned out some of the dialogue and lyrics, the sold-out crowd seemed totally connected with the content and were enthusiastic.

You’ll laugh, you’ll groove, you’ll pump your fist and you’ll learn the anatomically correct names of parts of the vulva.

You can catch Glittery Clittery at Le Cascadeur in the Garden of Unearthly Delights and The Pocket at Stirling Fringe. Grab your tickets HERE.
