ALTFEST: NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL COMING TO WOODVILLE TOWN HALL

The revamped Woodville Town Hall is set to become a new hub for live music in Adelaide, hosting an exciting line-up of alternative acts for AltFest on the evening of June 29.

Presented by Onya Soapbox, AltFest is a mini festival celebrating diverse contemporary music with a twist. The inaugural event features powerful, gritty and raw indie rock headliner Dallas Frasca, the gripping performance of UK sensation Z-Star Trinity, Triple J favourite Sahara Beck, and the evocative sounds of MARZ. Supported by local DJ Filip with an F, AltFest promises to deliver the best in alternative music.

Their music is meaningful, dynamic, pushes boundaries and of course…alternative. We can’t wait to bring this mini festival to Adelaide and are super proud of the Woodville Town Hall for promoting and getting behind diverse and brave programming.”

City of Charles Sturt Mayor Angela Evans is excited about Woodville Town Hall being used as a venue providing quality original music to our diverse community.

“We are very excited to be collaborating with Onya Soapbox to present AltFest – a new mini festival bringing alternative and independent music to the stage,” she says.
